Terms of service.

ifySEO is a code-aware web audit engine. It scans a public URL with a real headless browser, scores the result, and — on paid plans — offers an AI engine that edits your source and opens a pull request to fix what it found. You review and merge the PR yourself.

The service is operated by ifySEO, based in the Netherlands. KVK number to be published.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate sign-up information and keep it current;
• Keep your password (or your GitHub login) confidential;
• Be responsible for everything done under your account until you tell us it was compromised.

You agree to use ifySEO only to scan pages that you own or are authorised to audit. Do not:

• Scan a third party's site without their permission;
• Attempt to bypass our SSRF guard (it blocks private IPs and cloud metadata endpoints for a reason);
• Submit URLs at a rate intended to overwhelm the target;
• Reverse-engineer the service or attempt to extract its source;
• Use the AI auto-fix engine to introduce code you have not reviewed into a repository you do not own;
• Resell, sublicense, or rebrand the service without a written agreement;
• Use ifySEO to break any applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this section, with or without notice, and we will not refund the unused portion of a current paid period if the termination is for abuse.

• Free. Genuinely free; no card required. Per-month scan and AI-fix-run caps published on the pricing page.
• Growth and Pro. Paid plans billed in euro through Stripe Checkout. You can pay monthly or annually; annual plans bill once and include two months free. Tax is added where applicable (EU VAT collected by Stripe).
• Upgrades. Take effect immediately and are prorated against the remaining period.
• Cancellation. Cancel any time from the Stripe customer portal at /account. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for; we do not refund the unused remainder, except where Dutch consumer law requires it (e.g. the 14-day cooling-off period for new consumer purchases, where the service hasn't yet been used).
• Failed payment. If a renewal payment fails, we'll email you and retry per Stripe's standard schedule. If it ultimately fails, your plan may downgrade to Free until billing is restored.

The AI auto-fix engine reads the issues from a scan, edits your source on a fresh repo clone, and opens a pull request in your repository. It is powered by a large language model and operates within narrow GitHub App scopes.

You review and merge every change. ifySEO does not push to your default branch, cannot merge for you, and cannot run your CI on your behalf. The pull request is a draft you accept or reject.

No warranty of fix correctness. The engine can be wrong. It can mis-edit code, fix the wrong thing, introduce regressions, or open a PR that doesn't pass your tests. You bear the same review responsibility you would for a human contributor's PR. Run your CI. Read the diff.

Per-plan caps apply. The number of fix runs per month is capped per plan (Growth: 10, Pro: 50); the count resets monthly. We may impose a global concurrency cap to keep service stable.

You retain ownership of everything in your repositories and on the pages you submit. By using ifySEO you grant us a narrow, non-exclusive licence to: (a) fetch and render the URLs you submit, (b) store the resulting scan reports against your account, and (c) if you enable the AI auto-fix engine, read source files in the repositories you connect and open pull requests on them within the GitHub App scopes you granted.

We do not train any model on your scan reports, your source code, or your pull requests. We do not share them with other customers. We delete them on account deletion, subject to the billing-record retention noted in the privacy notice.

ifySEO, its name, the ScanReticle mark, the Ember design system, the source code of the service, and the engine that powers it remain our property. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is in good standing. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual-property right to you.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, infrastructure outages at our providers, and incidents will occasionally affect access.

Free is provided as-is, with no service level agreement. Growth and Pro do not yet carry a written SLA either; if and when one is introduced it will live here and apply to subscriptions from that date forward.

To the extent permitted by applicable law:

• The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profit, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption — even if we were advised of the possibility.
• Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service in any 12-month period will not exceed the amount you actually paid us in that same period (and zero if you are on the Free plan).
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory Dutch consumer law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or wilful misconduct.

You agree to defend and indemnify ifySEO against any third-party claim arising from your breach of these terms — in particular from scanning a site you were not authorised to scan, or from a pull request you merged without review that the AI auto-fix engine drafted.

You may close your account at any time from the account settings. We may suspend or terminate the service for the reasons listed in the acceptable-use section, for non- payment, or if continuing to provide it becomes impossible. Sections that by their nature survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) survive.

We may update these terms when the service changes. When we do, we change the "Last updated" date at the top and, for material changes, give existing account holders reasonable notice by email before they take effect. Continuing to use ifySEO after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer right to bring proceedings in the consumer's country of residence.
